Early night for me!

Hello everyone!
I've not really been feeling myself lately... I think a massive reason for this is the rubbish English weather we've been having :( Bring the sun now please! But also I have soo much college work to be done but can't motivate myself to do it at all! I've been super busy the last couple of weeks and tonight is one of the first nights in ages that I can have an early night with a hot chocolate and catch up on a good nights sleep! (Might even slip a face mask in there aswell, which always helps) and I get to sleep with this little cutie! My cat Domino is such an old man now all he does is sleep haha so he is all ready to join me in bed! And my amazing Sully toy which I got from Disneyland when I was about 8, I luuuurv him, he will forever be my favourite Disney character!

I hope everyone is having a good week :)

What do you do when you're having a night in?

REVIEW: Clinique lash building primer

Hello everyone!
Today the postman bought me some presents, yay! One of them being the 'Clinique lash building primer' which you can buy here :) It's meant to lengthen and thicken your lashes before applying mascara and also make your mascara last all day! I was really excited about trying this as I have quite thin and not very long eyelashes *waahh*
Here is what it looks like in the box..

 and the brush...

It's a white liquid, it would be better if it was clear but if you apply mascara carefully then it doesn't matter anyway! It doesn't really smell of anything either.

Here is my eye before...
...with the lash builder on...
and after!!

There is a noticable difference in length especially when applying this primer first, compared to when I only use mascara. I reaaally love this product, being the first lash primeri've ever tried, I don't think I will be going back to not using one! My eyelashes stayed pretty much the same all day with no flaking or bending :)
(I used Revlon 3D volume mascara - one of my favourite ever!)
I would definitely recommend this product, it is definitely worth the £12 as it does the mascara's job for it!

Which lash primers have you used?

Have a good week!

P.S I ordered 'gimme brow' woooo!!

So I can't wait to try this out and see if it beats my trusty eyebrow pencil and Brows-ago-go! But anyway, this beaut will be available in the UK from March or from QVC tomorrow morning for £14! Can't wait it get my hands on it *heart eyes emoji*

Who else is excited for this?!

Happy Saturday!

REVIEW: Benefit Porefessional

Okay (excuse my awful stubby fingers in this picture!) so I had wanted to try this product for such a long time! I have quite oily skin and wanted to find a primer that would give me more of a matte finish, yet hold my make up in place all day, which had proved to be very hard to find... until I tried this little beauty! As the full sized ones are £24.50 I wanted to make sure that I would like it before I jumped straight in and bought it, so I got my hands on a sample sized one and have been using it for the past week.
My first impressions on this product was how cute the packaging is! Benefit never fail to make the prettiest and best packaging for their products, I am one of these people who is easily influenced through nice packaging! I love the way is smells and feels, it's got a lovely texture and just glides onto the skin, the results are instant when applying this to your face, especially where you have larger pores. I don't tend to use it all over my face, just some around my nose and cheeks. It keeps my make up in place all day without making it cakey, I just love it and would definitely recommend it, especially for those will combination/oily skin!

I took some before and after photos to show how well it 'blurs' the skin and takes away shine!
(the pictures aren't too great, but trust me it does make a difference!)

Before
Here you can see my skin looks shiner and my pores look more obvious.

After using Porefessional
My skin looks much smoother and blurred and a lot more matte.

Overall I love the product and will definitely be buying the full sized one!
I hope this has helped any of you oohing and aahing whether to get it :)
here is the link incase anyone is interested,
Boots are giving a free gift with every 2 Benefit products atm aswell!

Have you tried Porefessional?

I went shopping!

Okay, so today I went shopping... First I went into Superdrug and couldn't just ignore all of the deals! Pretty much every brand has a buy one get one half price deal on at the moment, which is really good if you need to get a couple of bits (or just buy for the hell of it like me). The products I got here were:

Bourjois
Healthy mix foundation in 'light beige'
Happy Light in 'rose vanilla'
Delice de Poundre (the lighter one!)
Poudre De Riz illuminating skin highlighter

Rimmel
Kate Moss lipstick in '107'

Revlon
Photoready 3D Volume mascara in 'black' (one of my favourites!)

(Other)
Elegant Touch rapid dry for nails

I then went into Boots where they again had similar deals as Superdrug, so I bought a couple of Soap and Glory products I wanted to try, I love s&g so much, the packaging is beautiful! When I was there I  noticed a reduction stand with loads of No.7 bits and bobs on it, I think it's what they are discontinuing. Anyway, there I saw the most beautiful nail varnish, reduced to £3!! So if you're near a boots I would definitely recommend going and having a look at their reduced section, they also had bits and bobs from other brands like Seventeen :)

Soap & Glory
One heck of a blot!
Kick ass concealer in 'Light'

&
No.7 Stay Perfect nail varnish in 'Twinkle Glitter'

I also went into The Body Shop and saw the 'Love etc' perfume in there that I always used to have a few years ago, it was on offer for like £5 or something for 30ml which is amazing so I got another bottle of that, it's such a lovely perfume!

Let me know if you want any reviews :)

New make up brushes, finally!

So lately I've been thinking that it's about time I got some new make up brushes as my Bare Escentuals ones (as much as I loved them) have seen better days!! I'd been saving my Superdrug points over the months and had £18 on them to spend, wooo! So I went into Superdrug to buy the 'Core collection' set by Real Techniques but for the hundredth time they had sold out :'( so I bought myself the 'Expert face brush' also by Real Techniques as I'd read a lot of good views on it anyway!
I then went into Boots, and there they were, the last set of the core collection.. So I got them as well as £21.99 for 4 brushes is so good anyway!

core collection - detailer brush, pointed foundation brush, buffing brush & contour brush.
& expert face brush.

Will let you all know how I get on with them!
