Nars Haul

I don't know about anyone else, but I go through stages of being obsessed with different brands. Lately for me, it has been Nars. I've always loved Nars, but working at Space NK over Christmas lead me to fall in love with so many more of their products. Working there was very dangerous, as my wages went straight in and came straight out again! I would make mental lists of everything that I wanted to buy during my shifts! But it definitely helped me to try a lot of products that I wouldn't have necessarily picked up before. Here are some of the beautiful Nars products that i've picked up over the past few weeks...

Radiant Creamy Concealer in 'Vanilla'

This is something that i'd wanted to try for a LONG time. I'd always loved the Collection concealer, which I'd heard was meant to be a really good dupe for this (and a fraction of the price) but I was really excited to try this one out. It's got such a nice consistency, it's really thick and creamy, yet doesn't leave your face looking cakey. It's amazing for under-eye circles and highlighting, and doesn't crease. Now that i've tried it, I think I do prefer it to the Collection concealer, however they are still pretty similar. Would recommend this to anyone!

Blush in 'Seduction'
I'm really surprised that I was drawn to this actually. I usually go for very sheer pink/peach colours when it comes to blush, so this is very out of the ordinary. You can't really tell from the photos, but it's a very deep wine colour, with amazing pigment. This looks gorgeous with deeper red and berry lipsticks and I am obsessed! It's also great to use as an eyeshadow.

Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in 'Bahama'
I had seen a lot of bloggers raving about these lip pencils, about their amazing staying power and pigmentation... And they were not wrong to rave about them! These are amazing lip products, they stay on for ages without feeling too drying, and are really easy to apply. Bahama is a gorgeous browny/red nude and goes with nearly anything - it is now my 'go to' lip product!

Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in 'Damned'
This is another colour that I picked up, again the photo doesn't show it too well but it's a very pink toned red, almost purple. I love heroine by MAC, but sometimes think that it's a bit too much for every day, this is almost like an every day version of heroine (but a lot less purple!) This has been reached for a lot lately too!


Larger Than Life Long-wear Eyeliner in 'Santa Monica'
I feel like in so many tutorials that I watch online, they use a white eyeliner and it's something that i'd never really tried - so decided to give this one a go. It looks great along your waterline to make your eyes look bigger and works with so many looks. This is such a soft and pigmented eyeliner, which applies really nicely and lasts all day - i'm definitely going to be investing in some different colours!


Nars Sheer Glow in 'Mont Blanc'
I don't need to say much about this foundation, as I rave about it all the time on my blog. Basically it's my favourite foundation ever, gives a beautiful dewy finish and glow, great coverage and I just luuuurve it.



Eyeshadow Duo in 'Silk Road'
I'd been eyeing this up a lot whilst at Space NK... they would always be the eyeshadows that i'd have all over my hands at the end of the day having swatched them so many times! I'd really wanted Isolde, but instantly fell in love when I saw these gorgeous rose gold shades. They're super shimmery and look so pretty together and suit most skin types. They're perfect to wear if you don't want a really bold look, or if you're not used to wearing eyeshadow as they look really pretty for a day to day look. Another thing that I have been reaching for most days!

So I am definitely guilty of buying 'me' a lot of presents this Christmas, but I think it's good to spoil yourself, especially when it's crappy weather and you need cheering up! (Trying to justify my make up buying addiction haha)
