March Favourites

I haven't done a monthly favourites in a long long time, so it's given me a chance to find and fall in love with a load of new products. I have to admit, I haven't really been able to buy and try many products lately, but i've definitely found a select few which i've really liked! There's quite a few random bits and bobs in this months, but here is what i've been loving lately!

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - I've been using this for quite a while now and I love it! It's a yellowy/green colour with little if not any scent and has a really thick consistency, but it goes a long way which makes this little pot last for ages. I suffer with quite dry under eyes which makes my make up go quite patchy, but since i've been using this it's made a huge difference with how my make up sits, it's an amazing primer for your under eyes! Although it hasn't made any difference to my dark circles in the long run, it's definitely made the area a lot softer and makes them appear instantly brighter when applied. I use this morning and night and I love it!

Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion - Another eye product which i've been loving! I think i've mentioned this on my blog before maybe a year or so ago.. I stopped using it for ages, but now it's made it's way back into my morning routine and i'm obsessed with it again. It's 'a gentle herbal lotion to soothe and refresh tired, puffy eyes and remove light eye make up' which includes ingredients such as aloe vera and cornflower. I use this every morning as soon as I wake up by applying to a cotton road and sweeping over my eyes - it instantly makes me feel more awake and is great at removing any missed make up from the night before. It also has a really lovely, fresh smell :)

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray - I'd seen bloggers left, right and centre rave about this setting spray, but never gave in to the hype. It wasn't until my sister's wedding when I decided to give this a go that I realised how amazing it is! You spray this onto your face after applying make up, and it makes it last for up to 16 hours. At first I was a bit worried that it was going to make my make up go muddy or sticky, but it doesn't at all and you can't even feel it on your face. It made my make up last all day for my sister's wedding (thank god!) and I now use it whenever i've applied a full face of make up. I think that this is a must have in anyones make up collection!

Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly - I know that this has been around forever, and the world and his wife uses and loves this, but it wasn't until lately that i'd tried a paint pot (i'm very late to jump on the bandwagon) and I honestly don't know how I went so long without using it! I have very pink and quite veiny eyelids and so this is perfect as a base for eyeshadow so that it doesn't crease, or just as a bit of colour on your eyelids if you want to conceal any veins. Again, I think that this is a must have in anyones make up collection!

RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum - I've written a post about this before, but i'm so terrible with my eyebrows! After years of over plucking, I finally got them to a decent shape and then I have a spare of the moment idea to do a DIY shape and they end up as thin as anything again. But i've left them alone for the past couple of months and RapidBrow 100% helps speed up the process and make them grow a lot thicker. Before I started using this it would take me ages to grow them, but this helped so much. You can see in the picture below how much they have changed in the past 2 months!
My eyes look really veiny here as the flash was on! But this was over 2 months.

Marble Phone Case - Bit of a random one, but I got this really cute marble case for my phone off eBay (around £7) and I love it! They do the same one in Urban Outfitters, but me being a bargain hunter and all, found it for half the price on Ebay, it's so cute and looks great in pictures!

Another thing that i've been loving lately are healthy eating books, such as Deliciously Ella and Hemsley Hemsley. I bought 'Get The Glow' by Madeleine Shaw last year and absolutely loved it so I decided to buy a few more books to get some ideas for recipes. Most of these books are wheat, dairy and gluten free which is great if you have an intolerance to any of those. I've just found out I have endometriosis, which although can't be cured, the symptoms can apparently be helped with a change in diet - specifically wheat, gluten and dairy free. Although putting down the chocolate will be hard, I am going to try and commit to this way of eating to see if anything improves! To be honest, the recipes in here are so delicious that it's not a chore having to eat this way anyway, but it is a lot easier to whack a pizza in the oven! But we will see how it goes, as I can quite excited to change the way I eat!

A bit of a random one, but Topshop keep bringing out the cutest socks lately, including Disney ones! I fell in love when I saw the Dumbo ones, but they also have Lady and the tramp and other princesses, sooo cute! They're really soft too!

Last but not least, and again I am extremely late on the bangwagon BUT I have spent the past couple of month's obsessing over Pretty Little Liars! I would stay up till early hours every night watching them and now I finally see what all of the fuss in about. I'm currently half way through season 6 but don't want to finish it as I don't think I can wait until June for the next series! If anyone has any suggestions for any other good series like PLL then pleaaaase let me know!

Let me know if you've tried any of my favourites, and let me know some of your favourites!

    1. It's honestly soo good! I've heard that the version for oily skin isn't as good - and I was nearly talked into buying that one instead by the woman on the counter. But i'm so glad I went for the original one! xx
